Every two years the Labelexpo Americas trade show is a great way to learn about the latest news, trends, and products in the label and package printing industry. The three day conference is in Chicago, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center from September 25-27, 2018.
We’ve attended the trade show for 20 years, and are looking forward to attending again this year. You can find us at Booth #3812 in Hall C, where we will be displaying our ITR solutions for continuous flexo printing, along with the patented Load-N-Lok system.
We’re so excited for the show this year that we’ve put together this list of what we can’t wait to see and do!
Networking with Industry Experts
Every year we love getting the chance to meet with others in the flexo and printing fields. One of the unique aspects of the Labelexpo show is the vast expanse of booths, enabling endless opportunities to talk to others in the industry.
Since it is the largest event in North America for the label and package printing industry, just being at the event you are afforded opportunities to meet with those from across the country who you might not otherwise interact with.

Staying up-to-date on printing industry trends is a key component of providing state-of-the-art image carriers, and every year we walk away with actionable items to apply to our products and services.
This year we are looking forward to learning more about color and design trends in the label and packaging industry.
Seeing New Technology and Machinery In Action
Throughout the 3 days at Labelexpo there are various opportunities to see live demonstrations of the latest and greatest technology and machinery.
Additionally, there are three Label Academy Master Classes that cover various package printing topics. Attendees walk away with a glimpse into the future of the industry, and can apply what they know to their business’ strategy.
We’re especially looking forward to seeing:
- New presses, especially sleeve presses
- The advancements in digital press technology
- The variety of tints
Displaying Our Product
Labelexpo is a great opportunity to share our cutting edge image carriers and design capabilities.
We will be displaying various continuous print solutions for flexo printing, including our patented Load-N-Lok sleeve.

If you’re interested in seeing more Luminite products, one of our sleeves will be in the Anilox roll cleaning machine at the Sonic Solutions booth.
While the sleeve won’t be in printing mode, you will still get to see the material in person, as well as how it withstands cleaning.
